Florida Multiple Myeloma Patient Education Advocacy Group
The Florida Multiple Myeloma Patient Education Advocacy Group is an education and support group for patients with multiple myeloma and their families. Through an ongoing quarterly lecture series the goal is to educate and inform patients about the disease, natural history, treatment of newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma. New treatment options, the role of transplant, clinical trials, management of side effects, psychosocial aspects of the disease and patient experiences will all be addressed. Lectures will be given and questions answered by the Moffitt Multiple Myeloma team, a distinguished panel of physicians from other institutions, as well as Moffitt Multiple Myeloma patients.
